Such a well written book - A peek into life in France

I really enjoyed this book. It is a compelling story about the ups and downs of a teacher exchange with the author spending one year in a school in the Bordeaux region. The true story has enough drama in it to keep you interested, but what I really liked was how well the author captured the human element on what life was like in the region - for her, her family and the students she taught. I read it quickly and was sad to finish it! Would have liked to hear more about what happened to the characters once they returned to their respective countries. Very well done!

Anywhere but Bordeaux! is perfect reading for anyone tempted to run away and is ideal for a book club.
